Based on the beautiful North Wales coast, Glosters is a handmade ceramics brand led by passionate husband and wife team, Myfanwy and Tom. Having experienced steady growth in recent years, targets were set to expand the business premises and capacity in 2023 and grow sales.

THE CHALLENGE

With a stunning range of pottery and an extremely loyal existing customer base, the objective was to broaden awareness and bring in new customers to support 2023 growth targets - Nutshell were brought in to support this growth with Meta Ads. 

THE RESULTS

In 2023 ads supported a year on year growth of 49% enabling Glosters to achieve the expanded premises, greater capacity to produce and store stock, with a reliable growth in sales to support this.

The Meta campaigns held an average ROAS of 10.5, and supported growing their Instagram follower numbers by 40%.

THE STRATEGY

Before investing new budget into Glosters ads we did a thorough website and digital review and advised on areas which could increase the conversion rate.

Initial campaigns focused on rigorously testing catalogues, campaign types, audiences and creative types (getting our hands on Glosters’ creative was a treat, they excel at producing imaginative, high quality creative, which we were keen to squeeze maximum value from).

Glosters have a seasonal launch model which ads were key in amplifying and these launches grew significantly throughout the year.

Engagement on their Instagram account was strong and an obvious key part of the funnel to nurture new customers, so we also added a targeted Reels campaign to increase their Instagram follower numbers and support broader campaigns.

With increased spend, sufficient data through the account and learnings on ad creative we introduced Advantage+ Shopping, and quickly reaped the benefits.

A highly successful in person festive event was also supported by ads and concluded a whirlwind year for the team.
