Linden Plants was a new brand from the previously established Hove based Linden Flowers. In spring 2021 they developed a new website with the objective of scaling a UK wide online plant delivery service.

THE CHALLENGE

The challenge was to test the viability of Google Ads to scale the new plant business. Linden had previously tested Google Ads but didn’t feel confident their expertise allowed them to fully explore the opportunities on the platform.

THE RESULTS

In an extremely busy marketplace where Linden were competing with bigger, more renowned brands with more established websites and conversions funnels, the objective was to use the first 6-8 weeks to find the products and campaigns which would deliver the best value for them. As we came out of this testing phase we were able to refine the campaigns and offer in order to be on a steady trajectory of increased sales and decreased cost per acquisition.

THE STRATEGY

With a new website and very limited previous campaign data there was a lot to test on this project. We began by supporting Linden to optimise their website performance, review the product offer and improve the customer journey. We tested branded search campaigns, a range of niche product campaigns and re-marketing.
