Switchee is (so much more than just a..!) smart thermostat designed to improve the living conditions of social housing tenants.

THE CHALLENGE

With a pause between Marketing Directors, Switchee brought us in to look after their paid and organic socials, and email marketing activity for three months while their new recruit was bedded in.

THE RESULTS

Through the 90 day campaign period on LinkedIn, leads were increased by 38% and the cost per lead lowered by 14%. As we came out of the initial testing phase, in our final couple of weeks before handover the cost per lead was lowered by 45% and leads increased by over 400%.  Switchee were satisfied that the quality of leads were high.

Google Ads were tested on a small budget as a new route to lead generation.  Three campaigns were tested to assess the viability of scaling the budget, and learnings were taken. Although the quality of leads weren’t quite as high as the LinkedIn campaigns we recommended Switchee continued to test on Google and scale where the results were strong.

THE STRATEGY

On taking on the account we surmised that there was scope to review the organic social strategy on LinkedIn and Twitter, resulting in a stronger voice, clearer messaging and more interaction in the social housing sector. 

New opportunities in Switchee’s LinkedIn advertising were also explored, in particular testing a range of new creative, campaign types and segmentation. Although not part of the original brief, Switchee were open to testing Google Ads to work alongside their LI campaigns.

An email nurture sequence was delivered to support the lead generation funnel.
